ILLWILL (from the HYBREED STUDIOS and THE ROOTS MUVMENT) is back again and this time he does tremendous justice to G.O.O.D MUSIC and former Mo’Hits ace artiste – D’Banj’s OLIVER TWIST instrumental with the help of Hypertek’s TUFACE IDIBIA and the rap support from Beatbuxx 360’s ACE THA EMCEE to produce another monster hit. The mix has got addictive samples… I know I’m not supposed to say so much… I’ll let the song do the talking…

Comedian meets rapper Basket Mouth is not taking his music career as a joke as he plans to release 2 additional singles which will feature ‘legend-in-progress’ 2Face Idibia and Davido respectively.

Basket made this known through his facebook page “I’m getting ready to release my next 2 tracks ft: 2face & Davido on each track”.

We are still consuming his first single “Where You Dey”; which he recruited Wizkid & eLDee for; and he has the cat out of the bag. Rumour has it that there is an album in works.

#Random Must he feature an act? Hopefully the somewhat LP won’t have a guest on every track.

One of the most popular songs from 2Face’s smash LP ‘Unstoppable’ is finally here.

The wait is over, and finally the video for Rain Drops has seen the light of day. Classic 2Face video, and the story-telling via images is simply outstanding. Nice way to  bring the song back to the fore-front of everyone’s memory.

The video was shot in Ghana and directed by Isaac Offei Awuah for Hypertek Entertainment.

“Catch the vibe and get the feeling
Tell me your man that you are willing
What I have is what I am giving…”

These are the lyrics to a local hit lifted of Innocent Ugah Idibia’s debut Face 2 Face, which was released in May 2004. The album became a major hit and cemented 2Face as a top contender in the Nigerian music scene spawning smash hits like “African Queen” & “Nfana Ibaga”.
Nonetheless the focus here is on the Natives & Lil Seal assisted “Keep On Rocking”. This track was a banger then and can still compete for that title now with the drum-led instrumentation accompanied with the memorable chorus and verses not forgetting the icing on the cake by the featured acts. Enjoy!

Mr. Idibia did an interview with weekly Yes! Weekly Magazine and the singer let the cat out of the bag about his current relationship status with Marijuana, this is was the ‘African Queen’ performer had to say;

“I have never tried cocaine or heroine but I’ve done marijuana before. But I never took it to go on stage. It was just for relaxation purpose. Eventually I knew marijuana wasn’t for me, so I stopped. Because it makes me feel like I am in another world. I stopped using it a couple of years ago. It wasn’t difficult stopping. It was just craziness that introduced me to marijuana. You know how youth energy used to push one into things like that. In those days I used to listen to songs like ‘ Rolling down the street smoking ‘. All those songs can influence, if you want to be influenced. It is not for me to advise musicians not to write or sing about drugs.”

Bottom line is that he used to smoke the stuff before and now he is a changed man.
