Sometime in October 2008, popular Nigerian Afrobeat/Jazz musician Femi Kuti released “Day By Day”. The album was well received by international critics, for instance Allmusic gave the LP 4 out of 5 stars; I’m not here to talk about the album but the title track which happens to be the third track on the album. Day by Day focuses on the subject of violence and poverty in Nigeria, like @MisterAwe tweeted; “This song is spiritual”. The Grammy nominated multi-instrumentalist belts about how the people have turned to God to intervene in the situation of the country not forgetting the song-writer’s stellar voice supported by soothing background vocals. Despite the truthful pain the song oozes, “Day by Day” is a must listen for every reason.

#Random Are you still dulling? Go and get the track, last time I checked the album was still at Amazon or better still *Lips Sealed*
